Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and directed by Sekhar Kammula, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20th.
Even though Rashmika Mandanna is a pan-Indian actress and has a huge fan base in Kollywood, she still hasn’t delivered a proper commercial hit in Kollywood.

Rashmika Mandanna debuted in the Kollywood industry with Karthi’s Sulthan, released in 2021. However, Sulthan received mixed responses and ended up as a below-average performer in terms of box office collections.
Then, with high hopes, she acted as the female lead in Vijay’s Varisu, released in 2023. But it also ended up as a disaster, and her acting performance went unnoticed.

Now, the success of Kuberaa is more crucial for Rashmika Mandanna. If Kuberaa becomes a blockbuster success in Tamil, more Kollywood movie offers may come her way, giving her a huge chance to become a prominent actress in Kollywood.
However, if Kuberaa fails, Tamil directors might ignore her, and she could even lose her fan base in Tamil Nadu, says the trade experts.

Nevertheless, the Kuberaa trailer looks promising, and Rashmika Mandanna seems to have a solid, emotionally packed role in the movie.
