The unfortunate incident at Sandhya 70 MM killed a woman and a nine-year-old boy is in critical condition.
Telangana Government which is allowing Special Shows and Hiked Prices left right and center has come under criticism along with Allu Arjun and the producers. Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy finally had to announce that there will be no Benefit Show Permissions in Telangana going further.

There is confusion about whether benefit shows and premier shows are different. People are asking why cancel Benefit Shows when the incident happened at a Premiere Shows (9.30 PM).
The Minister who is not aware of Cinema Terminology used ‘Benefit Shows’. By ‘Benefit Shows’, he meant all the shows before the 7 AM Shows.

But then, the 9.30 PM Show is not a Special Show. The filmmakers are basically screening their films a day before the legally allowed Second Show. No one can stop that but there is a catch here.
All big films will go for Hikes. If the Government allows the Hiked Rates only from 7 AM, these Premiere Shows can not be screened without hikes. That means there is no monetary benefit.

In such case, they should sell these shows to third parties and sell at high rates illegally. If the Government is serious, that is again problematic.
So, if the Government is strict about this statement, it will be trouble at least in the near future.
Sankranthi films will be the ones that are immediately affected.
It is interesting to note that Mythri’s film which resulted all this mess but the production house will have no release for Sankranthi.
All three Sankranthi films are of Dil Raju’s. Gamechanger and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam are his production films. Daaku Maharaaj is Dil Raju’s distribution.
So he will be the most affected and most upset with what happened.
In fact, the big producers of the industry are completely upset with Mythri and Allu Arjun for complicating things.
Now, everyone looks up to Dil Raju to solve this problem. Dil Raju is known to be very close to Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
The stakes are very huge on Gamechanger. So, he should get the Permissions for Special Shows and Rates.
If Gamechanger gets it, the Government should give Permission for all the films.
In a way, Mythri inflicted a big damage to Dil Raju but unknowingly. However, if the rule is implemented strictly, everyone will get their turn sooner or later.
