
As we all know, there’s this one film that will remain unnamed here that fell prey to intense hate from this one leading political party in Andhra Pradesh.
After an artist’s speech at the event went viral and irked this party, they started the hate campaign against the same. Even after the hero and the team apologised for what had happened, they went on with the hate campaign.

Even after the release of the film, they went on to amplify the hate further. There are countless negative posts about the film and even a hashtag with the prefix “disaster” as they attempt to absolutely kill the film at the box office.
The hard fact here is that a film is a combined hard work of hundreds of technicians and crores of money is stake for the producer. After this labour intensive process, and huge money at stake, such hate campaigns will largely affect everyone involved.

It is high time that Tollywood takes a strong stand against such occurrences and prevent them from happening in the future.
Politics and cinema are too completely different words, but are often an interlinked on communal basis. But this culture is only going to affect the film industry further.

The industry is already hurting deeply with the piracy culture, which is prevalent now and is affecting many new films, and even that of superstar driven films. Now there is no need for a new hate campaign in the form of political agendas.
This is the worst possible thing that can happen to Tollywood now, and it needs a quick solution. If such issues aren’t addressed adequately, more damage could be done by such vindictive groups in the future.
