Prashanth Neel’s Salaar presented Prabhas in an entirely new light. While the film had a decent run, it fell short of becoming the blockbuster many had anticipated. Its viewership and TRPs on Netflix and TV were disappointing, leading to speculation about the future of its sequel.
Recently, news surfaced that Salaar 2 had been shelved indefinitely due to creative differences between Prashanth Neel and Prabhas.

However, the team behind Salaar has shared a photo today on X featuring Neel and Prabhas laughing together, captioned, “They can’t stop laughing!” This post seemingly mocks the rumors about the sequel’s cancellation.
Following Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is set to work on Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Raja Saab with Maruthi, and a project with Hanu Raghavpudi. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel will be occupied with Dragon starring NTR.
