Though NTR looked masculine in Devara, there were shortcomings in terms of visual presentation and camera framing. There are many shots in the film where NTR looks very odd and out of sync.
The clothing choices, and the camera positioning are largely questionable in many parts of this film. Many people were shocked to see an experienced Ratnavelu to operate camera in such a manner.

However, the onus is now on Neel to sort out this issue at the earliest. He really must sort out the visual presentation of NTR.
Earlier, Neel worked out the right looks for Yash who had a similar physical profile as that of NTR. The former’s look in KGF was a rage then. If Neel can work out this magic for NTR, then sky is the limit.

However, it appears that NTR is on the journey of slimming down, meaning he is looking to be in a slim and lean physique in the film. So, the KGF kind of look is out of the equation.
But at the end of the day, the onus is on Neel to design and execute the optimal look for NTR be it in terms of attire and also physical attributes.
