A Stampede followed by a Lathi Charge at Sandhya 70 MM, RTC X Roads killed a woman on the spot and a little boy is battling for life in the ICU. He is still critical.
The incident happened yesterday night for the Special Premiere of Pushpa 2 and the crowd went berserk when Allu Arjun and family visited.

It is a big strategical error by Allu Arjun’s team to bring a big star like him to the Premiere in a mass theater like Sandhya 70MM. A stampede is very likely in the frenzy of fans and it happened.
Allu Arjun’s team is closely following up with the hospital offering whatever assistance is needed.

The boy is just nine years old and is a big fan of Allu Arjun. His parents took him to the theater so that he can watch his favorite star. His mother, Revanth was dead on the spot and the boy is battling for life.
This incident will put pressure on the Government to take a decision on allowing these Special Shows and Midnight Shows for films.

Already the governments have come under criticism for allowing abnormally high rates for these shows. And now, this untoward incident will put even more pressure.
Nothing is more valuable than human life. It will be criminal if a life is lost in a film theater just for watching a film or a star hero.
The family will regret for life for their decision to go there.
They may have paid 3000 or even more to watch a film and now, one member of the family is no more and the other is critical.
The Governments have become haphazard in allowing the prices and special shows for films.
While the prices have already become a talking point, imagine allowing seven shows a day that means the theaters will run almost 24 hours a day.
At some theaters, police have to be deployed especially on the Release Day. It is not always possible because the department has many more duties.
The Governments will now be forced to take some big decisions as far as these Premiere Shows, Midnight Shows, Benefit Shows, etc. We will have to see if they will cancel these shows altogether.
This should be a lesson for star heroes as well. Going to theaters for the Special Shows is nothing but inviting danger. Here a family is complete shattered!
