SS Rajamouli is undoubtedly one director who minds his work and nothing else that goes on in the industry. His ambition to bring Mega and Nandamuri heroes together through RRR caused irreversible damage with lasting effects.
Everyone thought a film like RRR made around the theme of friendship would unite the two rival fan groups, but what happened is quite the opposite. Anyone who follows social media can tell it is not going to stop anytime soon, and for that matter, it may never stop.

It is the release month for Devara, and one look at social media platforms like ‘X’ makes it clear the permanent damage that Rajamouli or RRR has caused. Both Mega and Nandamuri fans are baying for each other’s blood with numerous trolls and cheap hits about the film, along with increasingly low and shameful abuses.
This will not stop with Devara, and N fans will do the same when it’s time for Ram Charan’s Game Changer.

No one can find fault with Rajamouli or his intentions to bring both heroes together, but post-RRR release, one hero became a victim of venomous propaganda for no mistake of his and was stamped as a ‘side hero’ for no fault of his own.
This is where Rajamouli gets the blame. He simply moved on to his next project with Mahesh Babu but never tried to address it. Had he responded in the initial days, this wouldn’t have grown so much worse. Rajamouli’s silence also contributed to the permanent damage and the ongoing fights between the groups.

One might ask who will listen to him, but Rajamouli carries enormous credibility and respect today as a movie director. When he says something, it carries weight and makes a big difference. However, when the issue is this significant, he simply chose to avoid it.
Once, Telugu fans used to show that Vijay and Ajith fans’ wars were the ugliest, but now both Mega and N fans have totally dominated them, which is very unfortunate.
TDP and Janasena contested together in recent elections. We have seen Pawan Kalyan and Balakrishna sharing a bonhomie during the campaign and Chiranjeevi supporting the candidates of the alliance. Since then, fan wars have decreased significantly on social media.
But when NTR’s film Devara came, the old bad blood came back. In the process of attacking each other, they are harming the film badly. As we said, if it’s Devara now, tomorrow it will be Game Changer.
And this will not stop. Between them, cinema will be suffering badly.
