Nithiin has been struggling for a solid commercial hit since Bheeshma in 2020. Although Rang De managed decent reviews, it was a theatrical flop.
His subsequent films — Maestro, Macherla Niyojakavargam, and Extra Ordinary Man — all ended up as disasters. However, this isn’t new for Nithiin. He’s known for following a hit with a string of flops.

Despite this track record, Nithiin seems highly confident about Robinhood. Recently, Nithiin visited Godavari, interacting with students and even dancing with them to promote the film.
Slated for release on March 28, he boldly claimed the film would be his “biggest birthday gift” on March 30.

Whether this is genuine confidence or just overconfidence will be clear in the coming days. He gave a similar overhype to Extra Ordinary Man as well, and we know how that turned out.
The buzz as of now is not too high. The recent song Adhi Da Surprise grabbed eyeballs more for its vulgar choreography than the actual song. Response to other songs also has been just about okay.

However, it is being speculated that the makers are coming up with a hilarious trailer that could take the buzz many notches higher.
It’s been a long time since people have experienced a big-screen hilarious entertainer. If Nithiin’s Robinhood turns out to be what the makers are claiming, then we can expect a good theatrical run.
However, a clash with Mad Square might turn out to be harmful for Robinhood. If that film clicks big time, it might spell trouble for Robinhood.
Let’s hope both films work. Nithiin is in desperate need of a hit, and Robinhood has the potential to become one.
With Sreeleela as the female lead, Venky Kudumula directing, and music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, Robinhood is backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
Fans are now eagerly waiting to see if Nithiin can finally break his flop streak.
