However, a recent special screening of the film at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad brought together some of Telugu cinema’s biggest names.
The event was attended by top filmmakers like Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Pushpa director Sukumar, legendary writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, producer Suresh Babu, and actor Rana Daggubati.

These industry veterans watched Kennedy and later engaged in a two-hour discussion with Kashyap about the film.
While Kennedy has been celebrated at multiple festivals, its release has hit roadblocks. Kashyap voiced his frustration in multiple interviews as well, questioning the fate of his film.

However, nobody seems to be interested in this film.
It doesn’t matter if Kennedy went to Cannes, it doesn’t matter if it had such a massive reception at festivals. While the audience has widely loved the film globally as well as nationally, no one is ready to take the risk of releasing it in India.
But with Telugu cinema’s biggest names backing the film, fans are hoping that this industry will support and push for its release.
