Last year, the dubbed film Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati received a positive response upon release in Telugu. Heroine Rukmini Vasanth received a lot of love from the Telugu audience who appreciated her natural beauty and graceful performance.
Her looks and expressions won over many viewers, who even took to social media requesting her entry into Telugu cinema.

She was expected to make a grand entry into Telugu cinema with a top-tier hero and a big project. However, fate had different plans.
She had already signed a Telugu movie opposite Nikhil two years ago which was almost shelved. But due to her bad luck, it was revived and released this week.

As expected the film turned out to be a huge disaster with lifetime collections heading towards less than 1 crore.
This is a significant blow to Rukmini’s career in the Telugu industry. Her debut film arrived with no bang and will leave the theaters after the first weekend without making any noise.

Adding to the injury, her role in last week’s Kannada release, Bagheera, also failed to impress audiences.
