Kamal Haasan’s most anticipated Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 5th.
Despite having more than 40 days until its release, the Thug Life team has now started its promotions for the movie.

Recently, the Thug Life team attended a press meet in which the anchor of the show questioned Trisha about her favorite food.
To which Trisha responded, “I like many foods, including boiled bananas. I don’t know the name properly, but I like to eat boiled bananas (pazham pori).”

During Trisha’s response, Kamal Haasan interfered and commented, “She didn’t know the name, but she knows how to swallow the banana.” This has now gone viral.
Following this, some people on social media commented that Kamal Haasan was making many derogatory comments against Trisha.

They feel the public is laughing and enjoying his jokes, but it looks cheap and disgusting, and respect towards co-stars should never be compromised for the sake of claps or casual laughs.
On the other hand, some people are defending Kamal Haasan’s reply and have responded that he was just teasing her, implying she knows what she eats and likes to eat a lot.
