
After two years of waiting, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is finally arriving in theatres on May 17, 2025. Notably, the film’s advance booking is now open in India, and based on the numbers that have come out so far, it might record a big opening.
Considering that the release date falls on Saturday, audiences would easily get attracted. The franchise already has a huge fanbase in India and people love to see Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt on the big screen.

Among the top three national chains, including PVR Inox and Cinepolis, the film has sold almost 10,000 tickets on Day 1 and the weekend numbers are reported to be around 15,000.
Notably, the box office prediction is higher compared to the seventh film, which collected almost Rs. 12.25 crores on the first day. Based on the number of tickets sold so far, there is an expectation that the film might open at Rs. 15-16 crores or it might touch the mark of Rs. 20 crores.

1.25 lakh tickets have been sold in total, combining all three national chains, and on-spot bookings might contribute to better collections on the first weekend. Moreover, the business is supposed to be better in metro cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
The best thing for now is that all of these are happening without any promotions. Hollywood films and their characters have always found a place in the hearts of the Indian audience.
