Several star-studded films, initially slated for release this year, now face uncertainty regarding their release dates.

The lack of clarity has created confusion, not just for these big-budget projects but also for Tier-2 and Tier-3 hero films, which are unsure of when to schedule their own releases.

For instance, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara was originally planned for a January release but faced delays. The primary reason for the setback was longer-than-expected visual effects (CGI) work.

The team hoped for a March or April release, but that also didn’t materialize. Now, there are discussions of a possible release in June, August, or even October.

Similarly, Prabhas’s Rajasab has also been caught in a state of uncertainty. Despite continuous talk about its release, no clear updates have surfaced regarding its status.

HanuMan hero Teja Sajja’s Mirai is yet to announce a release date, and there have been no recent updates.

Anushka’s Ghaati, which has completed filming, is also facing delays, with no word from the team on its release.

Even Mass Raja Ravi Teja’s Mass Jatra is surrounded by uncertainty, as the makers are staying silent about its release plans.

With so many films facing delays or unclear timelines, it would be helpful to have more transparency.




Clear release schedules would allow other filmmakers to plan their dates, accordingly, avoiding further confusion in the industry.
