M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Director Koratala Siva ahead of the release of his Devara with Junior NTR on the 27th of this month.

We started off discussing the record openings the movie is getting everywhere across the globe. We quizzed Koratala about why he chose to have some Mass sequences of the film in a flash in the trailers while a little longer of them would have a stronger impact.

Nishant asked the director if he could match the Mass of Mirchi which was by far his biggest Mass film to date in terms of continuous Action Highs. Koratala said the script demanded continuous action this time and he would match it.

Koratala sounded optimistic about the film’s Hindi prospects.

“I don’t think there is any difference in the sensibilities of the audience if they connect to the characters and the World. Indian audience will definitely connect ot the content we have. There is no doubt about it,” Koratala said.

“Tarak has been quite animated when he is talking about the last 40 minutes of the film, especially the final 10 minutes. What did you do to impress Tarak so much?,” Nishant asked Koratala and the director came up with an interesting answer.

We also asked him his opinion about people saying Anirudh reserved his best for Tamil films.
