Sai Pallavi

Sai Pallavi recently slammed rumors about changing her diet for her role as Sita in Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Media reports claimed she adopted vegetarianism for the role and even brought her personal chef while traveling.

On Wednesday, she addressed the issue on X (formerly Twitter), calling the rumors baseless and fabricated.

In her post, she expressed frustration over such false reports. Sai Pallavi warned that any future false stories would face legal action. She emphasized her stance strongly, saying she would not tolerate misleading news anymore.

While many supported her stance, some propagandists questioned her reaction. They argued that the report seemed harmless, as it merely stated she had adopted vegetarianism.

They speculated she might be annoyed because she is a non-vegetarian. These individuals also attempted to link her frustration to unrelated political leanings and called her response defensive.

However, these assumptions are misleading. Sai Pallavi has not denied being vegetarian. She is already a strict vegetarian and has openly spoken about it in the past. She has even mentioned that she would rather stay hungry than consume meat.

Her frustration wasn’t about the vegetarian claim itself but about the false portrayal of her lifestyle being changed for a film. When she is already a vegetarian, the narrative suggesting a shift for a movie role felt unnecessary and misleading.

Her reaction highlights her intolerance towards repeated false reporting, which can distort public perception of her.
