Nani is making every effort to join the pan-India bandwagon, but his strategy seems odd. He is heavily promoting his movies that primarily appeal to local audiences, and the results have been the same.
Whether it’s Dasara or Hi Nanna, his films haven’t performed well in Hindi, yet Nani continues his efforts with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

What’s even more surprising is that he’s also missing some basics. These days, having a uniform title across languages is a basic step for title penetration, but he is choosing multiple titles, like Hi Nanna in Telugu and Hi Papa in Hindi.
He’s repeating the same flawed strategy with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which is titled Surya’s Saturday in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.

The title Surya’s Saturday sounds more like a dubbed YouTube movie title. It’s unclear who is advising Nani on these choices, but if he wants to establish himself as a pan-India actor, he needs to address these basic issues. These are basics that can’t be overlooked.
The bookings for “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” have opened in the Telugu states and the U.S., and the movie is off to a good start.
