Allu Arjun’s Pushpa concluded its first weekend with a terrific performance. The movie has made phenomenal, record-breaking business at the box office as a regular mass masala entertainer. All credits go to Allu Arjun’s portrayal of Pushpa Raj, which led to such great word of mouth.
In an unrelated incident, senior actor Rajendra Prasad made some unnecessary comments about Allu Arjun during a speech at a web series event. He referred to Allu Arjun as a “నిన్న కాక మొన్న చూసాం వాడెవడో చందనం దొంగ, వాడు హీరో” and spoke about how heroes have changed over time.

Rajendra Prasad’s remarks were out of place, especially considering Allu Arjun is receiving high praise for his performance. Interestingly, Rajendra Prasad had worked with Allu Arjun in Julayi, a super hit film.
By his own logic, even in Rajendra Prasad’s era, heroes played dacoits, thieves, and negative characters, but they still had some goodness. It is not anything new that has started now. Heroes in such roles have been common for decades.

It was unnecessary for Rajendra Prasad to speak ill of someone or insult Allu Arjun with “vaadu, veedu”. This incident highlights how some senior actors can make thoughtless comments in public for no reason. They both acted in multiple films and recently when Rajendra Prasad’s daughter Gayathri died of a heart attack, Allu Arjun went to his house. This shows there is nothing between them, but it is just pure loose tongue talk from a senior actor.
