After KGF happened, Prashanth Ne became one of the most desired directors in the Indian film industry. He caught the attention of Telugu superstars like Prabhas and Junior NTR, who set up consecutive projects with him.
The mad hype of KGF 2, and the subsequent box office sensation created by the film made Prashanth a star director.

However, this kind of mad rush is missing in the case of Sukumar, who recently delivered a historic blockbuster in the form of Pushpa 2.
Though this film turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Indian cinema, the kind of hype surrounding Sukumar hasn’t been quite on the range of KGF.

There hasn’t been too much superstar action going around Sukumar, like what we saw in the case of Prashanth, where almost all the star heroes in Tollywood wanted to grab his attention.
A reason behind this could be that Sukumar had already lined up a film with Ram Charan, which is in production stage. But nevertheless, a bit more anticipation is expected from Tollywood, superstars after Sukumar delivered his historical blockbuster.

The likes of NTR, Prabhas, and others haven’t being showing too much interest in a collaboration with Sukumar out of mad rush, like they did with Prashanth Neel.
But at the same time, it can also be noted that Sukumar has been around for a while now and he will take things slow, as opposed to Neel who was a newcomer then and had this enigma in him.
Also, Pushpa was largely seen as a product of Allu Arjun who delivered a standout performance in the film. Sukumar might have to prove himself all over again with his next with Charan. If he can again deliver a pan Indian biggie like Pushpa, then the real deal starts.
