Yash’s Shocking War in Ramayana: Not with Ranbir Kapoor?
Ramayana is one of the biggest films to be made till date in India. Its stellar star cast has already made headlines. Who would have thought that Yash, who made headlines with the blockbuster, KGF, would play Ravan in the film!
Now, the latest that we know is that the battle scenes between Yash’s Ravana, and the character of Vidyutjihva are currently being filmed.

Reports also suggest that Yash will only have an introductory scene in the first part of Ramayana. Sunny Deol will also appear as Hanuman in the second part and is set to begin shooting from August.
Ranbir Kapoor, who will play Ram, has already completed shooting for the first part of Ramayana. Did you know that Ravana and Ram’s characters won’t even meet each other in the first installment?

Yes, they will reportedly face each other only in the climax. So, there’s no denying that a lot of hype is happening around Ramayana ever since it went on floors. It is also going to be India’s most expensive film made with a budget of Rs. 835 crore.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it is expected to release in October 2027.

With Yash’s Ravana not meeting Ranbir’s Ram until the climax, some fans are already calling it a “slow burn” gamble that might test audience patience. Others argue the makers are dragging out key moments just to spin the franchise into a multi-part money machine. Let’s hope the epic doesn’t get lost in all the hype.
