The government of Telangana decided to build an Artificial Intelligence (AI) city in the state, spanning over 200 acres. Plans are being made to make it the first AI city in the country.
This AI city would feature high-performance computing facilities, data centres, research centres and skill universities. There will also be an AI Centre for the Future, which enables people to access the latest AI technologies in the world. This AI centre will have exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations of the latest AI applications.

Along with these, the government is also planning to establish a cultural creative AI zone named ‘AI Kalakshetra’, which amalgamates the latest AI technology with Indian culture and arts.
The government also plans to develop 50 Annotation Centres across the state. Data Annotation plays an integral role in developing AI models. These Annotation Centres would create around 10,000 jobs.

The Telangana government is aiming to introduce the AI curriculum in Educational institutions to give AI foundational knowledge to students aged between 15-18 years.
Not only for students, but the government is aiming to provide AI education to people of all age groups through skill universities.

Government establishments like T-Hub, We-Hub, TASK, T-Works and Y-Hub are supporting the development of the AI ecosystem in the state.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched the logo for this project yesterday during the two-day Global AI Summit in Hyderabad.
