Ramesh Viswashkumar Survived From Plane Crash

Ramesh Viswashkumar is the sole survivor of the fatal crash of Air India craft in Ahmedabad.

He could save himself as he jumped from the emergency exit of the flight.

His seat number was 11A. Forty-year-old Kumar was a British citizen.

Though all the passengers were said to be dead, Viswashkumar was the sole survivor, according to Ahmedabad police commissioner.

Kumar is the only survivor from the fatal crash of Air India flight AI171. He was found in a critical condition and is being treated in Civil Hospital in Asarwa, Ahmedabad. He sustained injuries on his chest, eyes and feet.

He was visiting his family in India and was returning to UK with his brother Ajay Kumar Ramesh. However, Ajay’s status remains unknown.

Viswashkumar said that 30 seconds after the take-off, there was a huge sound and the plane crashed. Everything happened so quickly, he shared.

Around 50 individuals who were hurt due to the fatal crash at the BJ Medical College are now being treated at various hospitals.
