The other day, Telangana Minister Konda Surekha wrote a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that the Telangana devotees are being neglected in Tirumala.
The fact is that the devotees are not neglected the letters of Telangana Public Representatives are not being honored.

And today, Telangana BJP MLA Raghunanadhan Rao did a Darshan of the Lord along with his family and later spoke to the media.
“When the state was united, the recommendation letters of all the MLAs were taken into consideration. A total of 294 MLAs were provided with break darshan and accommodation facilities. After the bifurcation of the state, only the letters of the MLAs of Andhra Pradesh are being allowed. This discrimination is painful,” Raghunandhan Rao said.

He also served an ultimatum to the Government.
“If our letters are not honored in Tirumala this Summer holidays, all the Public Representatives of Telangana will come to Tirumala and we will see what we will do,” Raghunandhan Rao served an ultimatum.

CM Chandrababu Naidu and TTD Chairman BR Naidu agreed to honour the letters given by Telangana Public Representatives but it is not happening in reality.
There are so many practical problems in Tirumala which is beyond the words of Politicians.
It is shocking that Raghunandhan Rao stands in AP and in Tirumala and tries to blackmail the Government and the Board.
Millions of devotees have darshan of the Lord every month. Irrespective of state, the tickets are available online.
There is no quota state wise in online booking. So, there is no discrimination for Telangana people in Darshans.
Not even 10% of the devotees of AP have access to the VIP letters. They struggle like devotees of every state for that less than one minute Darshan of the Lord.
Recommendation Letters are not the only means of Darshan.
TTD is honoring the Telangana Public Representatives whenever they come to the shrine. Raghunandhan Rao along with his family got VIP Darshan today.
Recommendation Letters are often used by the Public Representatives to increase their clout in their supporters and people of their constituencies. Such letters issued by the Public Representatives of AP are already creating enough mess for the common devotees.
If the letters by Telangana Public Representatives are not being honored, it is only a favor to the Lord and also to the devotees of all states including Telangana who can not afford to get such letters.
The common devotees will only pray that the board will disallow letters of AP Public Representatives as well sooner or later.
The argument of how TTD honored the letters of 294 MLAs before bifurcation is silly.
The crowds at TTD increased by multiple-fold over the years. It is not the same anymore.
Keeping that aside, it is not 294 anymore for Andhra Pradesh. It is only 175 after the bifurcation. There is no obligation whatsoever to honor Telangana Public Representatives anymore.
It is not a right to demand like how people of Andhra Pradesh can not demand for many things that are in Hyderabad.
The audacity to stand in Tirumala and serve an ultimatum to the Government is totally appalling.
Chandrababu Naidu should shun away these blackmail tactics and clarify that only the Public representatives and their families will be allowed but their letters will not be accepted by the Board.
