The alliance Chandrababu Naidu forged in 2024 is a unique one. TDP stitched many alliances in the past but this is the first time it has allied with a party that has ambitions to occupy the CM Chair.
It is a matter of time when Janasena will start that journey. The major problem for Janasena so far is that it lacked proper mechanism and leadership at the Grassroots. By being in power, this is the perfect opportunity.

But then, the choice of leaders Pawan Kalyan is banking on is not positive. In Prakasam district, Pawan Kalyan is looking at Balineni Srinivas Reddy to lead the party.
In West Godavari, he is looking at Kothapalli Subbarayudu. There are rumours that Pawan Kalyan wants to send Balineni to council and then take him into the Cabinet.

The other day, he ensured Kothapalli Subbarayudu get a crucial Kapu Corporation Chairman Post.
Balineni is Jagan‘s relative. It is widely believed that Balineni is just taking shelter in Janasena for the time being. He does not want to take the risk of being in the Opposition in a Hostile Government.

Many even in the Janasena believe he will desert the party and go back to the YSR Congress. If the responsibility of Janasena is entrusted in his hands by making him a cabinet minister, it may be a blunder.
Meanwhile, Kothapalli Subbarayudu is an equally bad choice. Firstly Subbarayudu is a spent force in the district. That is the reason why he was denied ticket by various parties. Moreover, he is highly unstable.
After enjoying many important positions in TDP, Subbarayudu jumped into PRP in 2009. Later he went to Congress and from there he came back to TDP. He did not even stay there and joined YSR Congress in 2019. He joined Janasena just before the elections.
That is five parties in fifteen years.
He may desert Janasena once again. It is foolish to give him a crucial post like Kapu Corporation Chairman ignoring many loyal leaders in the Godavari districts who sailed with Janasena in lowest of times.
Time will tell the price Pawan Kalyan will pay for banking on these leaders!
