Andhra Pradesh‘s New Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be taking Charge this evening. He had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala and later addressed the media.

“You have seen 1.0, you have seen 2.0, you have seen 3.0. You are going to witness the 4.0 version,” Chandrababu Naidu said. Aptly so, Chandrababu is appearing so different this time.

Right from the Cabinet Composition, we can feel the change. Naidu has Seventeen First-timers in the Twenty Five Member Cabinet. He set aside many seniors this time to give a new look to his team.

Senior leaders – Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Ayyannapatrudu, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa, and Paritala Sunitha were not given berth this time.

Many of these are Naidu‘s Close-aides for a long time and telling them No is not easy.

Also decision-making is happening lot quicker now. Naidu is known for too much of brain-storming and in the process, delays are quite common. But this time it is completely different. We have seen how CID started acting on Beverages Corporation Chairman and how it seized many offices to unearth corruption in previous regime.

His first signatures – Mega DSC, abolishing the Land Titling Act, Pensions increase, Skill Census and Anna Canteens also indicate the administration will be a lot quicker this time.

Naidu was never expressive. He is someone whose face does not reflect happiness or sadness easily. Many opine that due to that, it is often difficult for Naidu to establish a connection with the people.

Public see him more as an abled administrator and voted him only on that lines. But this has also changed. Maybe because of age, Naidu has become expressive and is venting out his emotions.

This time luck is also on his side as the NDA Government is dependent on TDP‘s Sixteen MP seats. Naidu knows how to steer the state efficiently. If the Central Government liberally handholds AP this time, the state will be the ultimate beneficiary.
