Chandrababu Naidu has completed 100 days in Power. It was a remarkable victory for the cadre and also the public. Firstly, from Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest to a sensational victory, the cadre can not ask for more.
And then, for the public, it is a statement that no one can take them for granted. In Democracy, people can give you 151 and crush you immediately to eleven. The awareness and intellect of the public in this election are the biggest testimony to a healthy democracy.

Chandrababu Naidu is a different man in this 100 days so far.
There is empathy in every decision and there is a balance in administration and politics.

Earlier Chandrababu has this problem of being very ambitious in everything. He used to ignore the financial constraints and make big promises. And then, the struggle would begin to meet them.
Chandrababu did not make the mistake this time. There are no extravagant promises and deadlines that were impossible to meet in the case of big projects like Polavaram and Amaravati. The progress will definitely happen as the Central Government is dependent on TDP’s support but there are no difficult targets.

Naidu also takes a cautious approach when it comes to the welfare schemes.
The increased pensions were implemented right away. This is a big scheme and would benefit a very large number of people.
While the election promises are to be kept, it is important that Chandrababu clear the financial mess Andhra Pradesh is in. Naidu will take his time in implementing the promises so that the balance is maintained.
Hundred Anna Canteens have become operational and another 75 Anna Canteens will start today. This is easily the most popular scheme and got so much of good name to the Government.
Sand has been made free but there were issues on the ground. To address the issues, online booking of sand has been started from today.
One of the major highlights of these 100 days is how Naidu handled the crisis of the Vijayawada Floods. The way the 74-year-old leader left everything behind and hit the ground is awe-inspiring and a big moral support for the victims. From the relief works to the support package announced earlier this week, there is empathy all over.
One more remarkable aspect of Chandrababu Naidu’s 100-day rule is the austerity he is advocating.
Right from day one, he is instructing the MLAs and Ministers to be as simple as possible. There is no Paradas, closing of shops and schools, and stopping traffic endlessly for the Chief Minister whenever he is traveling. People are appreciating it compared with how Jagan was completely cut off from the people in the last five years.
During the floods, it is quite common that there are lapses in the relief works and it is natural for the victims to lose their cool at times. But Naidu was not afraid of taking them on the ground. He repeatedly preached to his officials to remain cool even if the victims were angry.
On the political front, we have seen the Government demolish the under-construction YSR Congress office in Tadepalli and arrest leaders like Nandigam Suresh. The cadre is not fully happy as certain YSR Congress leaders are left Scott-free even though there are strong cases and evidence against them.
Chandrababu Naidu seems to be trying to appear that his Government is not vindictive. But at the same time, he should remember that the overwhelming mandate he got is not just a vote for him. The anti-vote against Jagan played a very crucial role in the victory of TDP+.
Naidu should also do justice to that role.
Overall, the impression about these 100 days is that the Government has its eyes and ears in the right place. The massive success did not go into its head and they are striking a balance in administration and welfare. The 100-day rule is going in the right direction from what is expected from Chandrababu Naidu.
