“TDP was born on Telangana soil. Our party was initiated from the MLA quarters in Hyderabad. We stand by the Telugu community, no matter where they are. I can concretely say that TDP will be contesting the upcoming Telangana election.”

The Party skipped the 2023 elections as Naidu was jailed at that time, and there was no time for preparation. But TDP is better placed now as Naidu is the CM in the neighboring state.

Things are not better for the party even after 2024.

The Party was unable to appoint a proper President who would seriously work to strengthen the party.

Even its Presidents were seen jumping ship.

So, Naidu did almost nothing to strengthen the party in Telangana.

The party cadre sees Revanth Reddy as a Friend, which is even dangerous.

Probably, Naidu is expecting to replicate the same alliance of Andhra Pradesh in Telangana.

He is hoping that the BJP, TDP, and Janasena will contest together.

But then, the BJP is very unreliable as far as Telangana is concerned.

We have seen the party pull the plug in 2023 by replacing Bandi Sanjay after they sensed Congress is gaining in Telangana. They helped the BRS indirectly only to stop Congress.

Even after 2023, even though BRS is looking down the barrel, the BJP has been largely inactive.

So, harping on the BJP is not a wise decision.

We have seen the BJP trying to milk Janasena in the name of an alliance.

In the GHMC elections, Janasena was not given a single seat, while in the Assembly elections, it was given a paltry number of seats.

TDP will be dealt similarly if the party does not get strengthened in Telangana.
