There were rumors that Vijayasai Reddy would make a comeback to Politics by joining the BJP.
Reports said he will be getting the Rajya Sabha seat vacated by himself in the BJP quota.

But then, sources said Chandrababu refused to allow that, and so, Sai Reddy, a few days ago, told the media that he is not interested in the Rajya Sabha seat anymore.
He also added that he needs no one’s permission if he wants to come back to politics and announced that he would come back if the People want him to be back.

Fresh Rumors suggest that Vijayasai Reddy is still interested in joining the BJP but is expecting some other post in Delhi other than Rajya Sabha.

Since the Narendra Modi Government in Delhi is dependent on the TDP numbers, Sai Reddy fears they will also accelerate the ED and CBI cases pending on Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sai Reddy is the A2 in all these cases.
The only way to get legal immunity in these cases is by joining the BJP and getting a post in Delhi.
Due to Chandrababu’s resistance, he is no longer interested in being active in the State Politics.
Sai Reddy has turned Witness in the Liquor Scam.
He is testifying to the CID against MP Midhun Reddy and Raj Kasireddy in the Liquor Scam, but is denying any knowledge about the Kickbacks so as to keep himself safe.
Sai Reddy intelligently revealed that Raj Kasireddy and MP Midhun Reddy are involved in the scam, but avoided the kickbacks part so that he is not entangled in the case.
