For the past ten years, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been staying at a Guest House belonging to Lingamaneni on the Undavalli Karakatta road on the banks of the Krishna river.
Chandrababu, who has repeatedly said that he will build his own house once the construction of Amaravati is completed, recently bought a house in the capital area.

After exploring various areas, he selected a place in the Velagapudi revenue limits.
This is the Best Political Decision taken by Chandrababu Naidu in recent times.

Chandrababu’s Karakatta House has become controversial as it is in the violation of Krishna River Laws.
During Jagan’s regime, there were efforts to flood the house and also to demolish the building in the name of norms. Luckily, the courts came to the rescue.

Also, Chandrababu not having a permanent residence in Amaravati also became a big narrative problem for TDP when Jagan Mohan Reddy is after demolishing the Capital Region.
Jagan duped the people of Amaravati by constructing a house in the Capital area. But Chandrababu not having one became a problem.
Also, TDP cadre was very unhappy about the Karakatta Residence. They believed things did not go well for Chandrababu there right from losing the 2019 elections to getting arrested. Chandrababu faced the 2024 elections mostly from Hyderabad. He barely visited the Karakatta residence before the elections.
Now that the new house is coming up, hopefully it will be completed before the next elections.
By the next election, Amaravati will come into a proper shape and Chandrababu having a permanent residence there will also help big time.
This is the best political decision by Chandrababu Naidu after the elections.
