
The Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Jet did give warning signs in the past, it has emerged. Though this is the first massive accident that has seen huge human loss, the craft had technical glitches in the past.
The craft failed to take off in the past on quite a few occasions, it is being said. In December, 2024, smoke came out of the craft causing panic. In just one year, there were two notable technical glitches.

Two accidents were avoided in June and December. Only last week, the craft had an emergency landing in Sharjah, on its way to Paris. Despite an alert by DGCA, Air India continued to fly the craft leading to the fatal crash on Thursday in Ahmedabad.
Due to negligence on the part of the airlines, the entire crew and passengers on the craft have died. As the plane crashed into the BJ Medical College UG hostel, 20 casualties are reported so far.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu are visiting the accident spot and overseeing the rescue operations.
Meanwhile, the police have sought the DNA of family members to identify the charred bodies.
