The Chief Minister can finish it as a formality by arriving at the location after the mortal remains arrive. But he made sure that he was at the spot much in advance and gave a very respectable farewell to the departed soul.

Today, Madhusudhan Rao will have his final rites in his native, Kavali.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will be there to pay his last respects.

This politics with empathy is needed to give emotional support to the people in these times of distress, and also to the family. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are doing that.

The Chief Minister also announced 10 Lakh Rupees Ex-Gratia to the bereaved families.

On the other hand, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released a byte of paying homage to the victims today.

It is at the Review meeting of YSR Congress Local Body Representatives of various districts.

Even this byte has come two days after the Nation’s mourning.

Yesterday, YSR Congress called for a candle march protest in support of the victims, but Jagan Mohan Reddy did not participate.

Jagan tweeted a message on the day of the attack. But in these times of crisis, he should have done something more.
