The driver Ramana Reddy was taken into Police Custody, and he was named as the A-1 in the case.

Meanwhile, YSR Congress came up with a new flip-flop over the issue.
“దురదృష్టవశాత్తు నా Car Driver Accident చేస్తే ప్రయాణిస్తున్న నన్ను Accused గా చేరుస్తారా ? ఇలాంటి చట్టం ఈ దేశంలోనే లేదు! @naralokesh,” Ambati Rambabu posted on X.

This is the line YSR Congress has officially taken.
Even Kommineni Srinivasa Rao mentioned the same in his Debate on Sakshi this morning.
It is true a Passenger sitting inside a car can not be responsible for the accident, a driver has committed.
But then, that does not hold true for Jagan.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is also one of the reasons for this accident because he was greeting the people standing on the Side Board of the Car.
That is illegal. He even allowed people to climb the Bonnet of the car while it was in motion.
Even though the driver is behind the wheel, Jagan Mohan Reddy is the real reason.
In the name of a Political Rally, he allowed things that distracted the attention of the driver and also aided dangerous driving.
So, there is no way he can escape the case.
The argument – “How is a Passenger responsible for an Accident?” is silly.
Jagan’s PA Nageshwar Reddy, ex-MP YV Subbareddy, former MLA Perni Nani @Venkateswara Rao, and former minister Vidadala Rajini were in the car and were also named as the Accused in the case.
The Guntur Police also summoned Jagan’s Security in this case and are finding out who were in duty that day.
