
CM Chandrababu is touring Kurnool starting various development projects. Addressing a public meeting, the CM gave good news to women. He announced that free Bus service for women will start in AP from August 15.
Babu has been under pressure to introduce free bus scheme for women, which was one of his election promises. Due to various reasons, he could not fulfill it till now. But sticking to his promise, Babu has finally given a date.

In neighbouring Telangana, the free bus for women started soon after Revanth Reddy came to power. The delay became a bone of contention for the opposition in Andhra Pradesh.
The Andhra Pradesh government has been fulfilling the Super Six promises made prior to elections. The government allocated monies for Talliki Vandanam and Annadata Sukhibhava in 2025-26 budget. Talliki Vandanam will start in May, 2025, while Annadata Sukhibhava money will be given in three phases.

Now, in Kurnool, Chandrababu has promised free bus for women from August 15, 2025. Speaking on the occassion, he said his government was committed to fulfilling all promises.
