The efforts of Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh are being lauded by the chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu. The chief minister appreciated Lokesh for successfully convincing the Google officials to set up a campus in Visakhapatnam.
“When Nara Lokesh was in the USA recently, he requested that Google officials set up a company. They are now ready to set up a campus in Visakhapatnam. Lokesh convinced them and we have completed the MoU,” said Chandra Babu Naidu.

“If we can build a positive networking and can convince people, the actions will automatically result in a positive manner,” said Chandra Babu, which he considers as a lesson to everyone.
Chandra Babu Naidu is confident that collaborations with global technology leaders such as Google will empower the state. He hopes that collaborations like this will contribute to India’s digital growth story.

Google will now be focusing on accelerating the deployment and adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across the state, with the headquarters set in Visakhapatnam.
“If Google’s strategic investment is made a reality, it will be a game-changer for Andhra Pradesh. If a data center can be set up along with AI, and machine learning, Visakhapatnam can be a global strategic location for AI,” said CBN.

On one hand, former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy made lofty promises by calling Visakhapatnam the Executive Capital but failed to lay even a single brick for any major development. On the other hand, the NDA government has delivered huge results, bringing a tech giant like Google to Vizag within just six months of coming into power. This move is poised to be a game-changer for the city.
