BRS is celebrating its silver jubilee and a huge meeting presided by its chief KCR is being held at Elkathurthy near Warangal.
The BRS leaders have been talking about the silver jubilee celebrations extensively as they want the meet to be a milestone in the history of the party.

Meanwhile, the opposition Congress party has started the debate about TRS and BRS. Telangana Congress leaders have been wondering at press meets if the silver jubilee is for TRS or BRS.
It is known that KCR started TRS way back in 2001 on April 27. Prior to elections in Telangana, TRS was renamed as BRS in 2022 on October 5. This has surely become a talking point among political circles as the party leaders decided to rename the party, only to see defeat.

However, the BRS leaders are on a high due to the feedback and ground zero reports about people coming in large numbers to see ex CM KCR.
BRS’ ex minister, MLA Jagdeesh Reddy brushed away the Congress party’s sarcasm saying it was sheer jealousy. He said people were coming and in large numbers as they would go for Bonalu or Bathukamma or Sammakka Sarakka jatara.

Jagdeesh Reddy himself kickstarted the bullock cart journey of those who were headed for the grand meeting. On Friday, he started off those coming on cycle for the big meet in Suryapet.
