Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, a couple of months ago, announced that Naga Babu will be inducted into the Cabinet. There is a Vacant Spot in Chandrababu’s Cabinet.
Telugu Desam Cadre always opposed Naga Babu’s induction tooth and nail. Naga Babu shares a bad past with the TDP badmouthing the party and its leaders.

He always came across as someone who has ideological and caste differences with the TDP.
But Chandrababu did not listen and considered Pawan Kalyan’s Obligation.

The Cadre did not like Chandrababu prioritizing Naga Babu over the TDP leaders in giving an MLC seat.
While the cadre is just settling down, Naga Babu made a complete mess with his comments in Pithapuram.

“No one is the reason for Pawan Kalyan’s Victory in Pithapuram. Only two factors worked. The first one is Pawan Kalyan and the second one is Janasena cadre and people of Pithapuram. If anyone imagines that Pawan Kalyan won because of them, it is their Karma,” Naga Babu said.
He not only set aside SVSN Varma but also did not give any credit to the TDP and its cadre.
The party workers online and offline are resenting this behavior.
At this juncture, if Naga Babu is inducted into the Cabinet, it only adds fuel to the fire.
If Naga Babu continues the same behavior after becoming a Minister, it will damage the alliance further and create new headaches.
Usually, when something like this happens, Chandrababu delays it temporarily and will do that after the Cadre’s anger subsides.
We can also expect a small arrest sooner or later so that the cadre will shift to another topic leaving this.
But then, these are old-age techniques to hoodwink the cadre.
The Cadres are genuinely hurt and if their opinions and feelings are not respected, it will reflect very badly on the party.
Respect should be mutual in an alliance. Pawan Kalyan or Naga Babu should definitely apologize or explain to pacify the cadre.
It can’t be that they should adjust after being on the receiving end.
