Today is NTR’s Vardhanthi. It’s been 29 years since the Legend left this mortal world but he is still the most-celebrated.
On NTR Jayanthi and Vardhanthi, we see Homage Advertisements in Newspapers by NTR Family Members (On behalf of Ramakrishna Cine Studios) and Junior NTR. But one Advert is always special and that is by Filmmaker YVS Chowdary.

YVS who calls himself NTR Bhakth has a famous tribute song ‘Na Paripoorna Parisuddha Hrudayamtho’ before every film of his.
Along the same lines, he has been giving Paper Ads for NTR Jayanthi and Vardhanthi. He has been doing that since 2002 when his first film Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo released.

First, YVS used to give the Ad to Vaartha. The film industry shifted to giving Ads to Andhrajyothy later when Radhakrishna revived the Paper.
In 2008, Sakshi was launched. YVS started giving the Ad to Sakshi as well along with Andhrajyothy that NTR should reach ‘both the sections’.

He continued that for four years but Sakshi management refused to take the Ad after that. They said they stopped Cinema Ads on the lines of Eenadu but it is an open secret in the media circles that Sakshi was elevating YSR at that time and did not want to give space for NTR.
After the Bifurcation, YVS Chowdary started giving the Ad to Namasthe Telangana and Andhrajyothy (AP and TS Editions) so that it reaches people of both states.
That means it’s been 23 years since YVS Chowdary is giving these Ads continuously without stopping even though his career has seen huge ups and downs.
