Babu said the ganja batch, those involved in murders, in betting and sexual offenders are being lauded and their statues are being put up.

If you notice, from the time politics changed, a section are trying to make heroes out of unsocial elements. Rowdys are being lauded as political heroes. They are projecting those maintaining law and order as useless people, pointed out Chandrababu.

Isn’t betting bad? Hasn’t ganja problem been controlled? I told before elections that those addicted to ganja will not leave it easily. But I have ensured there is no production in the state.

He then touched upon the issue of the rape of a 3-year-old and said that it was a henious act. Chandrababu said that when one’s mind is so mad, how can one treat such a person.

The politicians must create a control mechanism to stop such acts. But some politicians are supporting such people. How can they think that they can rape and get away, asked Babu.

Did I fight terrorism out of anger? Did I fight naxalism out of anger? Did I fight factionsism out of anger? Did I fight rowdyism and communal violence out of anger? Babu questioned.

We had rehabilitated, educated and changed those involved in communal violence, naxalism in the garb of political leaders, in the past, said Babu.

But the new crop wants to make heroes out of offenders in the name of politics. That is dangerous, said Chandrababu.
