The news is that Infosys Mysore has shown the door to trainees once again. This time, the number is lesser than previous time.

Infosys removed 40-45 trainees it is being said. Those who failed in the last internal assessment programme have been sent home.

The 40-45 trainees were communicated the same via emails, according to stories in English media. As the trainees could not clear the assessment programme, they failed to make it to the Foundation Skill Training Programme, according to the company. Due to this, they cannot continue their apprenticeship, the company conveyed in the emails.

But Infosys has given a second chance to these trainees. Apart from providing counseling, they are trying to find alternate jobs for them.

It is going to give them training for 12 weeks in business process management (BPM). Infosys will be giving jobs to all the laid-off trainees who will complete their training in BPM Limited.

It will be giving relieving letters to trainees and one month salary as ex-gratia. Infosys has been facing a lot of criticism when it comes to hiring freshers.




Last month, it showed the door to around 400 trainees for failing in continuous assessment tests. This drew flak for the company. It is known that the laid-off trainees wrote to the PMO regarding it.
