Strange are the ways of state politics these days.
Things are even stranger in the ruling coalition. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan give undue importance to the BJP.

On many occasions, the BJP is given more importance than the bigger party, Janasena.
Rejecting many of his own leaders, Chandrababu Naidu accommodated anti-TDP leader Somu Veerraju in the Council.

After forming the Government, the BJP got two Rajya Sabha Seats in AP.
TDP should get these seats due to their majority. Or at least Janasena should get it because it is the second-largest party in the coalition.

Interestingly, Janasena does not have representation in the Upper House even today. But the BJP has two seats already despite having no strength in the Assembly.
The party gave one seat to BC Leader R Krishnaiah. So with a seat that belongs to the TDP, the BJP is doing Political Posturing.
The other seat went to an anti-TDP leader from Bhimavaram.
And today, Deputy Chairman of AP Legislative Council, MLC Zakia Khanam, joined the BJP from the YSR Congress Party.
Zakia Khanam was supposed to join the TDP. Ministers – Nara Lokesh and Farooq held a series of talks with her, and her joining was more of a formality.
But she joined the BJP in the Presence of Party President Daggubati Purandeshwari today.
Zakia Khanam is from the Rayachoti constituency, where the BJP has no presence. Being a Minority leader, she is against the BJP and its Hindutva Politics, and this joining will have no use for her.
But then, in the wake of the BJP making the WAQF Board Amendment Act and the recent tussle with Pakistan, the BJP leadership wants to send a strong message that the Minorities are with the party.
Hence, the TDP High Command had to send her to the BJP.
And then, the Blue Media is writing stories that it is a setback to TDP, as Khanam chose the BJP over the TDP.
It appears as if Chandrababu Naidu was also given the responsibility to develop the BJP in AP.
Being extremely busy, Chandrababu may find it difficult to give time for the TDP, but he can not afford to neglect the BJP.
