Only a couple of days ago, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said he is a changed man and very soon, people will see Jagan 2.0.
While the 2.0 version of anything is considered a superior model, Jagan 2.0 seems to be far more inferior than what it was previously.

Politics is not a one-man show. While a leader leads, there should be a pack to follow and work for him. With their collective efforts, they try to please the people and impress them to come to power.
But then, Jagan Mohan Reddy is a megalomaniac. He thinks he is omnipotent and that everybody including those who work for him is trivial and irrelevant.

The other day, Jagan spoke very lightly about the Rajya Sabha MPs who left the party.
He says Character and Credibility is important to Political Leaders while referring to these leaders.

He did not bat an eyelid to say the same about Vijayasai Reddy who was with his family for three generations. Sai Reddy is A2 in all the CBI and ED cases of Jagan Mohan Reddy and has gone to jail for that.
We do not know what happened, Sai Reddy left three and a half years of his Rajya Sabha Tenure and retired from politics.
While resigning, he did not bash Jagan. He said even if 1000 persons like him leave the party, there will be no problem for Jagan Mohan Reddy and also wished the latter would come to power in 2029.
No leader leaving a party would say such nice words, especially in politics these days.
But Jagan cares a damn. He indirectly commented that Sai Reddy is character-less.
Sai Reddy also gave a strong retort to Jagan. If Jagan and other YSR Congress leaders continue to rub Sai Reddy on the wrong side, things will get worse. Once a loyalist, Sai Reddy may become an enemy and why not an approver in Jagan’s cases?
Even hardcore YSR Congress leaders could not understand why Jagan had to talk as such about Sai Reddy who has done so much to the party.
The answer for this is there in the same Pressmeet of Jagan.
“I did not depend on anybody. I am what I am today because of God’s blessings and People’s Kindness,” Jagan said implying that people leaving the party will not affect him.
People and God are no longer with Jagan. It was proven when he got just eleven in the recent elections. All that Jagan is left with is his arrogance now.
There is a fine line difference between arrogance and confidence.
Jagan should have confidently said there would be no loss to the party but he chose to say that arrogantly.
When someone leaves the party so respectfully, what is the need to poke him and make him an enemy? That too someone like Sai Reddy who can be a big threat legally.
Due to the same attitude, Sharmila and Vijaya Lakshmi who toiled hard for Jagan while he was in jail are nothing to him now.
It is a matter of time before more leaders leave the party. Only lobbyists like Sajjala who never faced an election will remain with Jagan.
Once in opposition and that too when you do not even have a dozen MLAs and the Opposition Status, you should be accommodative. You should be patient. You should be tolerant. You should be winning more friends.
But Jagan 2.0 is such a flawed model that he is in search of new enemies.
The higher walls around his Tadepalli Palace do not mean Jagan is an Emperor and he can not be touched.
In just two days, YSR Congress supporters are left fearing of this 2.0 Model. They are hoping that this at least should not be the inferior model of the previous version.
