CM Chandrababu Naidu commented on YS Jagan’s demand to allow him time in the Assembly. He said when people didn’t give him mandate, how can they break rules for him. He has to follow the rules, said Babu.

Similarly, AP Speaker Ayyannapatrudu too wondered how the YSRCP leaders expected ministers and the government to answer Jagan who sits in a palace and throws questions.

He said is it happening anywhere in India and added if YCP members had understanding of the rules. How can Jagan be given the same amount of time like CM Chandrababu Naidu when he is not even the leader of opposition, said Ayyannapatrudu.

The AP Speaker was in New Delhi to invite Union Speaker Om Birla to open an orientation workshop for MLAs in AP.

Later, Ayyannapatrudu addressed media along with deputy speaker Raghuramakrishna Raju. He said that a member can be disqualified if they don’t attend the Assembly for 60 days.

He added that such a member should give the letter in person to the Speaker and it must be for a valid reason.

Jagan should give a chance for his MLAs to talk about their constituency issues. He and other YSRCP MLAs must come to the Assembly. Fake signatures in the log will not suffice, clarified Ayyannapatrudu.
