
The Kamma community slammed Jagan for his comments during odarpu yatra in Palnadu. The leaders of various Kamma Groups expressed their anger over Jagan supporting the rappa rappa narakutam poster.

They said instead of condemning such acts, Jagan looked happy with the usage of such phrases. They advised the YSRCP leader to mend his ways. Jagan was trying to create bitterness between different castes and religions, they alleged.

Speaking on Friday, Kammavari Seva Samithi president Gummadi Ramakrishna said that Kammas were in all parties. They were in YSRCP also, he said.
He said taking the name of Kammas in odarpu yatra was not right. Ramakrishna expressed anger over Kodali Nani constantly badmouthing Kammas, despite being a Kamma.

Ramakrishna said that Jagan and his leaders did not spare Bhuwaneswari who never ventured into politics. He said Jagan called Amaravati Kammaravati and treated officials on caste basis during his term.
Ramakrishna also reminded Jagan that he can win only if people of all castes vote for him.
Kamma Seva Samiti official representative Puvvada Sudhakar said that though many Reddy leaders ruled in the past, they never hated Kammas like Jagan did.
He said that Jagan’s statements made people turn against Kammas. Leaders who play casteist politics must be banned, said Sudhakar.
Swaroopa Rani said it was Kammavari Samiti’s goal to make sure Kammas are not degraded.
Muttavarapu Ramakrishna asked Jagan if he would give chief and deputy chief posts to Kammas in his party. During the YSRCP rule, did you give even one minister berth to a Kamma, he questioned.
