BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao addressed allegations and criticism related to the investment and organization of the Formula E car race in Hyderabad. For the last few days, it has been reported that KTR might be arrested for the alleged scam he committed scam during the organisation of the Formula E event.
During a press meet at Telangana Bhavan, KTR defended the event, pointing out the huge investments and benefits it brought to Hyderabad. However, to be on the safe side, he is unnecessarily diverting the topic and is bringing Chandra Babu Naidu into an issue that is unrelated to him.

During his speech, KTR recalled efforts dating back to Chandrababu Naidu’s attempts to bring F1 racing to Hyderabad and how he himself pushed for Hyderabad to host international motor racing after F1 plans fell through.
He said that Revanth Reddy’s guru Chandrababu Naidu tried bringing F1 to Hyderabad by meeting the former F1 CEO. “Though Shishya didn’t fulfil Guru’s desire, we were able to fulfil it,” said KTR.

KTR blamed Revanth Reddy for a loss of Rs. 700 crores and tarnishing Hyderabad’s image by preventing the race. He argued that instead of targeting him, a case should be filed against those responsible for damaging the city’s reputation. KTR also said that everyone will remember the Congress government for their scandal during the Commonwealth Games.
Meanwhile, netizens on social media opined that KTR is trying to divert the entire issue. Netizens argue that KTR should defend allegations if he is not involved in any scam rather than dragging others into the issue.
