Kuppam MLC Bharat is in the headlines as the Guntur residents filed a police complaint against him for cheating them of Rs. 3 lakhs in the name of selling tickets in Tirumala.

They alleged that Bharat and his assistant were found selling the tickets for the Tomala Seva in Tirumala. They claimed that Bharat and his assistant cheated them after taking money.

The complainants have provided evidence of online money transfers, WhatsApp chats, and other documentation to support their claims.

Selling tickets through letters of recommendation has become a lucrative business during the YCP regime, and attempts were made to continue this practice during the TDP regime.

However, the people of Guntur approached the police officials, demanding action against them. After TDP has taken over the administration in state, there is no room for misconduct, especially from the people’s representatives.

During the YCP rule in Kuppam, Bharat was reportedly involved in various controversial activities, including stone-pelting during Chandrababu Naidu’s visit. Despite the gravity of these allegations, he appears undeterred.

The cops are currently investigating the matter and if proven guilty, they will take an appropriate action against Bharat.




Notably, Bharat contested against Chandrababu Naidu in the recently held assembly elections.
