Nara Lokesh India Conclave 2025

Nara Lokesh spoke about quite a few things he and his state AP are achieving as they progress. He was speaking at the India Today Conclave, 2025.

When asked what AP had while Karnataka had Benguluru, Tamil Nadu had Chennai and Telangana had Hyderabad, Lokesh went filmi style like in Deewar and said Andhra Pradesh had Chandrababu Naidu. He is our competitive advantage, he said.

Lokesh shared that he looked at himself not as a third generation politician but a TDP karyakarta. This was tough as his father Chandrababu sees him everyday.

When asked how a Stanford University pass-out turned sun of the soil politician, Lokesh said Stanford was good for business but padayatra was very, very good for politics.

After covering 3000 km in 226 days, he said it was easy to transition into Naidu’s Cabinet. When asked what his contribution would be for the state, the IT Minister said they will build a data city in Vizag.

We are at the cusp of a revolution said Lokesh saying that they will transit from IT to AI seamlessly. We have good manpower in AP. As the HRD minister I am trying to change the entire syllabus from KG to PG, Lokesh said.

He also shared about Whatsapp governance in the state, how he thought of it and how they were implementing it.

He also clarified that if we adapt AI, it will work in our favour, else we will lose a job. We have to be ready for it, the state has to be ready for it, he said about AI revolution.

Moving on to caste census, Lokesh said it was more important to do a skill census. He revealed that a pilot project was carried out by him in Mangalagiri. This would help the country, Lokesh said of his ideas.

Lokesh also spoke about imposing Hindi and delimitation. He shared that no one was trying to impose Hindi. It was good for children to know multiple languages apart from Telugu. Our children are learning Japanese and German that will assure them jobs, he said.

As for delimitation, Lokesh said it was a mere election issue in states that will be having elections. He said AP will not jump into the bandwagon.




Lokesh reaffirmed their support to NDA and added that Telugu Desam will remain a regional party, though India comes first.
