One Year And Zero Progress By Pawan Kalyan

Chandrababu Naidu’s Government in Andhra Pradesh has completed one year in power.

TDP has formed a coalition government for the first time, along with Janasena and BJP.

Chandrababu Naidu made Pawan Kalyan the only Deputy CM in his Cabinet and gave him good respect. In this one year, there is not even a minor difference between TDP and Janasena.

We have seen Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh share very good bonhomie.

Wherever possible, Pawan Kalyan is reiterating that this alliance will continue for a minimum of 15-20 years.

Alliance between TDP and Janasena will mean the unification of two major communities – Kamma and Kapu, and so this alliance is very crucial politically.

Keeping that aside, Pawan Kalyan is not doing enough to strengthen the party.

The biggest problem of the Janasena Party is the lack of a proper organizational structure.

Both TDP and YSR Congress have proper structure till the ward level, but Janasena is mostly about the youth who support Pawan Kalyan due to their film favoritism.

The party supporters expected Pawan Kalyan to concentrate on that at least after coming to power.

But in one year, nothing of that sort happened.

Pawan Kalyan is busy in the Government, and whenever free, he shifts to Hyderabad, where his family resides. And then, there are his family commitments.

There are not many serious Review Meetings.

Even in the twenty-one seats Janasena won, things are more or less the same.

Some of the Janasena MLAs are TDP leaders who won on the Janasena Ticket. There are no attempts to grow the party or groom the leadership.

Forget about all this, Janasena did not even conduct a Membership drive in this one year.

The next four years are a golden period for Janasena. If they do not improve, the party will be where it is before the 2024 elections.
