
A key development has taken place in the phone tapping case that created a sensation in Telangana.
The Panjagutta police have arrested three accused. On the complaint of G. Chakradhar Goud of Siddipet, the police had registered a case against former minister Harish Rao, former DCP of the Task Force Radhakishan Rao, and some others under various sections last year.

However, in this case, Todupunuri Santosh Kumar, Bandi Parasuramulu, and Teljir Vamsi Krishna of Siddipet were arrested by the Panjagutta police on Saturday and sent to remand. Vamsi Krishna worked in Harish Rao’s Peshi when he was a minister.
Vamsi Krishna’s hometown is Siddipet and he was the manager of Arogyasri in Nalgonda district. He was removed by the higher authorities after he was found guilty of irregularities there. Later, in 2023, he joined Harish Rao’s Peshi as a PA to the Minister. He worked for about six months.

However, DCP Vijay Kumar revealed that Santosh Kumar and Parasuramulu, who had assisted Vamsi Krishna in the phone-tapping case, were recently taken into custody by the police. The court remanded them till February 28. With this, they were shifted to Chanchalguda jail.
Chakradhar Goud alleges that with the help of DSP Praneeth Rao, a special war room was set up in Siddipet and everyone’s phones, including his phone, his wife’s, family members, and driver’s, were tapped from 2023. He has filed a complaint with the police on the same matter.

Chakradhar Goud has alleged that illegal cases were filed against him during the previous government’s tenure and he was harassed in various ways.
In this case, A1 is Harish Rao and A2 is Radhakrishnan Rao.
With the PA arrested, it has to be seen if this case will lead to Harish Rao’s arrest.
