Pithapuram assembly constituency is one of the most anticipated seats in the Andhra Pradesh elections this time, primarily because Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is contesting from here.

Last time, Pawan contested from Bheemavaram and Gajuwaka and lost both seats. This time, he decided to contest from Pithapuram as part of an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party.

One person who has been a backbone for Pawan in Pithapuram is the constituency’s TDP in-charge, SVSN Varma. Initially upset about not getting a ticket, Varma was convinced after talking to party chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Since then, Varma has poured his blood and sweat into campaigning for Pawan Kalyan. Varma’s immense popularity and positive image among the people could be a significant advantage for Pawan this time.

Varma is highly confident about Pawan’s victory in the constituency, predicting that Pawan will secure a record majority in these elections.

On the other hand, the ruling YCP leaders believe that Pawan will lose badly this time as well, just like last time.

In response to such statements, Varma declared that he is ready to bet his entire assets on Pawan’s victory and invited anyone to accept his challenge, asserting that Pawan’s win is inevitable.

Varma’s confident statements are boosting the morale of Jana Sena leaders. They are now eagerly awaiting the counting, which will be held on June 4.
