A bill was tabled in the Telangana Assembly to change the name of the Telugu University at Public Gardens. The University which was named after Potti Sreeramulu will now be changed after Suravaram Pratap Reddy.
Apparently, Potti Sreeramulu is perceived as an ‘Andhra Leader‘ and has no relevance to Telangana State now. And so, the Revanth Reddy Government wanted a Telangana name for the University now.

The Same Telangana leaders go to Tirumala and Demand (Not Request) to accept the Recommendation Letters of Telangana‘s Public Representatives.
The other day, BJP MP Raghunandan Rao warned of a Protest by Telangana Public Representatives in Tirumala if their letters are not accepted.

So, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are bifurcated and Separated for all purposes except for those needed by Telangana leaders.
Some people say Potti Sreeramulu has no relevance to Telangana but Telangana devotees contribute to TTD‘s income and so they are well within their rights to demand their Recommendation Letters.

TTD gets more income from Tamil Nadu than Telangana. That does not mean the leaders of Tamil Nadu can demand their rights in TTD.
If at all, the Letters of Telangana‘s Public Representatives are accepted, that is only due to the obligation that they are a sister state to Andhra Pradesh and another Telugu State.
Devotees across the globe offer Money in Tirupati Hundi. They are not giving money to the TTD or Andhra Pradesh Government, they are offering to the Lord.
And then, Potti Sreeramulu gave away his Life for the ‘Telugu Identity‘ not just for the People of Andhra Region. It is nothing but narrow-mindedness to relegate a great leader to a Region.
