
The recording dances in Pawan Kumar’s constituency have raised quite a few eyebrows. The vulgar dances were held at Kothapalli Mandal in Moolapeta village in Pithapuram.
The recording dances were organized as a part of celebrations during Poleramma jatara. In all 12 women danced to raunchy numbers with obscene steps till midnight.

Despite such blatant show, the police didn’t bother to intervene which angered the locals. Many are angry as to how permissions were given in Pawan Kalyan’s constituency.
Recording dances happen regularly in Godavari districts and are hugely popular with youth and men alike. In the past, there have been many instances during which recording dances were organized following temple jataras.

While it has become a tradition of sorts in these districts like kodi pandalu, there are many who complain against this sort of vulgar entertainment.
With growing number of assault cases on women, exposing men and youth to such obscenity will only provoke them further, feel many.

Also, Pawan Kalyan has maintained that he is a blue-blooded sanatani. Organisation of such dances is a shame and there is a need to address public outcry.
